Pulsford’s passion for running will support seniors’ health again this year
On Saturday, July 27th, Natalie Pulsford is participating in the Backyard Ultra to raise funds in support of seniors' health and wellness.
Natalie works at Providence Living at The Views having recently moved from old building to new. She has immense love for her job, her co-workers, the residents, and the beautiful new space and care model that goes with it. Daily, she sees how hard everyone works to provide the best level of care and companionship for residents.
This is Natalie's fourth year running the Comox Valley Road Runners' Backyard Ultra as a fundraiser. Along with friends, she will be running 6.7 km every hour, on the hour, until the last person is standing! The event takes place at the Comox Valley Exhibition Grounds at 4839 Headquarters Road in Courtenay, BC.
Last year, Natalie ran for 13 hours, a whopping 87.2 km, earning the trophy and the honour of being the last person standing among her beloved running community.
Again this year she wants to bring added purpose to her running challenge by fundraising. Her goal is to raise $1,000 to go toward the area of greatest need related to seniors' health and wellness in the Comox Valley.
