Receiving care locally can ease a family’s stress
Earlier this week, we shared Mindy’s story and saw her family’s beautiful smiles as they celebrated the simple happiness that comes from being together.
In speaking with Mindy’s spouse, Brian, we heard the relief that comes from knowing his love receives excellent healthcare right here at home in the Comox Valley.
The couple have so much gratitude for the Comox Valley Hospital and the many departments involved in Mindy’s care whether it’s the Medical Imaging Department that originally discovered the tumor and that provides regular scans to ensure her treatment is effective, the hospital pharmacy that carefully packages up her medications, the lab that handles her blood work, or Cancer Care where she receives chemotherapy on a monthly basis. Each department is working to deliver the comprehensive care that Mindy requires.
