True Door Project Expands Thanks to Donors

This week, as we celebrate International Women’s Day, we are excited to announce a wonderful gift, showcasing the power of collective giving and care. Thank you, Michele Courtney, Ronni Lister and Tracy Fogtmann, for bringing the True Doors project to The Views and expanding it at Glacier View Lodge. Their generous donations will purchase door covers, mimicking real house doors and help create a more homelike environment that also provides a sense of security for residents by more easily identifying their own rooms.

With women representing almost three-quarters of long-term care residents, it is timely to celebrate the leadership of Michele, Ronni and Tracy in making this gift to support great care, close to home.

Their gift, building on a generous donation from Dave Procter and ReMax Ocean Pacific Realty to initiate the True Doors Project at Cumberland Lodge earlier this year, is ensuring this program supports the care provided for residents at all three non-profit long-term care homes in our community.
